We have a broader understanding of the neurophysiology behind headache, migraine, low back pain, spinal sensitization, and symptoms of spinal dysfunctions. However, there is very little implementation of this information in manual practice. It’s high time to fill the gaps!

Understand how to support patients in the pain management and in the rehabilitation of movements in case of headache, dizziness, Low Back Pain (LBP), and much more. Tests and techniques on the cranio-cervical junction, cervical, lumbo-sacral, and coccygeal areas will be shown, demonstrating an effective neuromechanical approach to the patient’s symptomatology and Range Of Motion (ROM)

Day 1
• Why is Dura Mater a major structure in our CNS
• Cranial vs Spinal Dura Mater
• How do we approach the Dura mater during our treatments
• Dura Mater, headache, and dizziness: why, when, what to do
• The Myodural Bridge and the Suboccupital muscles; tests and spinal examination
• Neuromechanical techniques on the cranium and on the cervical spine
Day 2
• Dural Filum Terminale, LBP, and spinal sensitisation: why, when and what to do
• Neuromechanical techniques on the lumbar spine and on the sacrum
• When and how to combine cranial and sacral techniques for best results
Course Goals:
- Obtain an updated and fuller knowledge on the Dura Mater
- Improve the accuracy of the differential diagnosis procedure of headache, migraine, low back pain, spinal sensitization, and symptoms of spinal dysfunctions
- Autonomously set up safe and appropriate treatment plans based on anatomy, biomechanics, research, manual tests, and differential diagnosis, to support with pain management and ROM rehabilitation
- Learn and master new tests and techniques for cranio-cervical junction dysfunctions, and cervical, lumbo-sacral, and coccygeal areas in order to make treatments faster and more effective
